Closed Session's lone signee, Alex Wiley has been turning 2014 into the year of 'The Village'. After blazing into the new year with a slew of new music, the 20-year-old MC dropped his sophomore project, Village Party to rave reviews and a mention as one of the best project of the year so far by The Huffington Post, among others outlets. Enjoying the success of his latest drop, Wiley found some time to release a video for the track "Ideas" off of Village Party today on Noisey. The video, shot by frequent collaborators VisualMecca, finds Wiley amidst an amphetamine-induced whirlwind of purples and frenetic cuts and effects that we have come to expect from the team at VisualMecca. Wiley wear a Pharrell-hat and trench coat, set amongst a Willy Wonka-like midwestern prairie. Anyone who has popped an adderall for one reason or another can attest to the barrage of thoughts, conjectures and feelings the drug can flood the mind with and Alex Wiley, a self-professed "ADD kid" certainly captures the spirit of those moments well here in his latest video rendering from Village Party.
